Elyse
Elyse Wood
Elyse is our receptionist and administrator, with special responsibility for merchandise - dancewear, toys, books etc. She works Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays, always a friendly face to greet you and a willing source of help and advice.

Elyse was formerly manager of The Design Company and spent many years in the jewellery trade from which she holds the National Association of Goldsmiths' Diploma. Married to Michael, an enthusiastic sailor, she is sometimes to be found 'crewing' in the Lake District!
Julie Lyons
Our premises at RDDC (Waterfoot centre) are kept spick and span thanks to the efforts of Julie, our cleaner. Julie, who was previously employed by Sainsburys is also a parent of four girls, one of whom attends RDDC for lessons! Truly a family concern.
Julie
Hannah
Hannah Taylor, AITDA
Hannah is a full time teacher at RDDC and is working towards further Associate level qualifications. Hannah enjoys all Theatre Branch work - Ballet, Tap & Modern Jazz - with children of all ages and abilities. An enthusiast for Ballroom, Latin American and Salsa dance, Hannah very much enjoys teaching adult classes.

Jenny

Jenny is a full time teacher at RDDC, responsible for a range of classes in Ballet, Tap, Modern Jazz, Street, Irish and Ballroom. Jenny is a multiple UKA National Theatre Dance Scholarship winner and a versatile performer.

Confusingly, you will often hear us refer to Jenny as "Jim"! Why? Because she laughs like a 'fella'! Despite her laugh Jenny is a very popular teacher, able to inspire both children and adults alike.
Jemma Chrimes, BA (Hons)
Jemma studied Drama at University from where she joined RDDC to teach acting for television, film and theatre to both children and adults. Her classes are always fun, enjoyable and varied, featuring voice, speech, movement, scripted and devised performances. Ever busy, she is also our course leader for the popular GCSE Performing Arts course.
Jemma
Louise

Louise is a full - time student at RDDC, studying for a BA (Hons) in Dance Education with the Royal Academy of Dance. She combines this with her role of teaching assistant and can be seen in a variety of classes at both our centres. Louise has enjoyed great success as a performer. She, like Jenny Barnes, is a UKA National Theatre Scholarship finalist and, more recently, danced with the Birmingham Royal Ballet in their production of Petrushka.

Mariella Giomarelli, Molly Taylor, Melanie Simms
We refer to Mariella, Molly and Melanie as our triple M's! As teaching assistants you will encounter one or more of them, mainly at weekends supporting RDDC staff in classes. Teaching assistants are drawn from our pool of senior students and are an invaluable asset to both you and us.

All RDDC staff are CRB checked and hold first - aid certificates. Together they make an outstanding team of dedicated professionals eager to share their passion for dance, drama and musical theatre with you.

VISITING TEACHERS
From time to time we invite leading teachers and performers to RDDC to undertake masterclasses
and workshops. These events are not restricted to RDDC students - all are welcome.
